Usually, Writer Workout Mondays are reserved for women writers who have a membership, but you get to try it for free and see what all the hype is about!

Every writer needs the same exact thing: more writing time, more accountability, and more support. Oh yeah, and we need to do the actual work of submitting our pieces for publication!

Most of us have read books on writing or attended writing conferences, but what we most need is time to do the darn thing. It's the same reason why people attend workout classes. We need a designated time when someone shows us what to do, then makes us do it. We need the community and the motivation.

And it works! The women in this community have published hundreds of essays and 15+ books in the last 3 yrs alone!

Here's how it works:

This is a generative, supportive workshop, open to women writers of all levels and genres. We’ll meet for a Writer Workout session on Monday, May 6 at 12 CT via Zoom for 60-75 min (depending on if you want to stay for the last 15 min to share your work in small groups). We'll start by stating our goals and brainstorming. Then, I'll lead you through an effective scene development visualization and prompts. Then we'll write for 20-30 min. Finally, we'll share our work with each other for the last 15 min (this part is optional but encouraged).

If you're using your lunch time to join us and you have to leave the meeting a little early, no biggie. If you miss the session, never fear, I'll send the recording afterward.
